The division is located in Wuxi, Changchun, Dalian and headquartered in Wuxi, covering a total area of 870,000 ใŽก, with employees of over 5400, and the main products of diesel engines, gas engines, moving parts and remanufactured product and common rail systems. After establishment, it has formed the R&D layout of "two cities and three places" in Wuxi, Changchun, established "five mechanisms for technological innovation" and the big R&D system integrating procurement, market, quality, cost, process. Then the division has complete independent development capability of engine and has won "First Prize for National Science and Technology Progress"

The New Strategic Layout of FAWDE Powertrain Division

In November 2022, in accordance with FAWDE's plan, the former Engine Division and Transmission Division were integrated to form the FAWDE Powertrain Division.

Following the restructuring, the Powertrain Division is now located in Wuxi, Changchun, Dalian, and Foshan, with its headquarters in Wuxi, covering a total area of over 1.31 million square meters. The division comprises 12 functional departments, three directly affiliated factories, and two joint ventures. It employs over 7,000 people.

FAWDE Powertrain Division is an important business unit of China FAWDE's commercial vehicle business. It is the research and development, production and sales base of FAWDE Company's heavy, medium and light engines, gearboxes and axles.
