Completed in 12 months! The Chuzhou HR Micro IDM project undertaken by the EPC mode of CESE2 has achieved many breakthroughs
Since the outbreak, the construction of various engineering projects in Chinese Mainland will inevitably face many challenges, as will the construction of wafer factories. China Electronics System Engineering No. 2 Construction Co., Ltd. has not only achieved many "first" breakthroughs in the construction of semiconductor wafer plant EPC project, but also explored a new balanced path between epidemic prevention and production construction. Project review
The general contractor of HR Micro IDM project in Nanqiao Economic Development Zone, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province (hereinafter referred to as "HR micro project") is China Electronics Systems Engineering No. 2 Construction Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CESE2"), with a total investment of RMB 3billion, which is divided into phase I and phase II projects. Up to now, phase I Project (the construction of a 6-inch SiC MOSFET Power Device plant with an annual output of 720000 pieces) has been completed and delivered for use. The total investment of phase I project is 1billion yuan, with a new building area of about 50000 square meters. The project includes 12 main single buildings: main production plant (FAB), R & D building, CUB power plant, solid waste warehouse, wastewater station, class a warehouse, hydrogen station, bulk gas station, etc. The phase II of the project will continue to advance as planned.
During the construction of the project, clp-2 obtained the full support of the government and all social parties. The contract was signed within 3 months, and the construction speed of the project was not delayed due to the impact of epidemic prevention. With solid technical construction capacity and efficient project management experience, cetc-2 has achieved "rapid delivery" and successfully put the project into operation. In early May 2022, it will complete the construction task of planning a monthly production capacity of 30000 pieces. The construction quality, construction speed, comprehensive management and coordination ability of the project have been highly praised by leaders of Anhui provincial Party committee and Chuzhou municipal Party committee.
Chuzhou HR micro's semiconductor EPC project, from design, civil engineering, to electromechanical purification, professional system package, etc., was independently completed by CESE2. The implementation and construction of the project created five "firsts": 1.the first major project settled in the cooperative industrial park between the two provinces, 2.the first industrial project jointly established by Pukou-Nanqiao district
3.the first wafer manufacturing project in Chuzhou City.
4.The first land acquisition is the project that starts construction and only one month after signing the contract.
5.One of the fastest construction projects of similar wafer factories in China .
All subdivisions of the EPC project are carried out under the premise of ensuring safe and civilized production, and are successfully put into operation at one time without exception. CESE2 has exchanged the trust of HR Micro for its honesty-based attitude, and turned this trust into a more mellow friendship and cooperation with outstanding achievements.
After the completion of all HR Micro projects, it will help alleviate the global chip shortage to a certain extent and boost the domestic R & D process of the third-generation semiconductor SiC related products.

Lean Construction and uses EPC Mode to Build High-quality Projects
Faced with the characteristics of large quantities, tight construction period and great difficulties in EPC general contracting management and coordination, cese2 optimized the process and played a steady role in breaking the difficulties of field operation one by one, so as to achieve the same quality and progress. The general contracting management and coordination need to carry out the whole process and all-round management and services for all subcontracts. There are many professionals, and the location of professional subcontracts, materials, equipment and processing sites are restricted in many aspects. Therefore, the coordination is balanced, and the construction plane layout and facility planning should be reasonable and scientific; For the layout, implementation and acceptance of important warehouses, plants, class A warehouses and warehouses for inflammable and explosive products, the overall planning and key attention were also made in the early stage, and the fire control acceptance of all class a warehouse was passed at one time. In addition, in terms of pipe network and plant roads, temporary leveling and other processes may have an impact on the final delivery time, so the team can effectively accelerate the construction period by re planning and adjusting each parallel or series process and conducting overall operation research management.
Apply Simulation Technology to Save Project Cost according to Local Conditions
According to the initial design scheme, the foundation of the whole plant area is based on pile foundation, but the plot where the project is located is based on soft soil and has a certain area of pond layer. In the case of pile foundation, it may cause soft soil disturbance, but form the destruction of organizational structure. The company invited CLP internal simulation technology research institute to carry out micro vibration prevention test and foundation checking calculation, and discussed with relevant technical departments to adjust the pile foundation to large-volume raft foundation, which not only saved the construction period by nearly one month, but also saved and reduced the corresponding project cost and investment by nearly 30%. The most important thing is to improve the accuracy of micro vibration prevention of the project.
Current Closed-loop Management to Deal with Emergencies
At present, CESE2 has considered various risks in advance, prepared plans and corresponding countermeasures in advance, reasonably arranged various dispatches, and strictly implemented the national epidemic prevention regulations, so as to effectively promote work and ensure safe construction and team health. At the level of detail implementation, the company arranged separate living supporting areas for employees, and closed-loop management cut off the transmission of the epidemic; Establish a procurement resource base, make adjustments and temporary transportation when necessary, and solve the impact of shortage of local construction equipment and materials; Develop domestic alternative plans for key imported materials to quickly respond to epidemic emergencies. The alternative plan effectively solves the shortage of various equipment and materials encountered during the project, such as the materials used for the curtain wall of the main plant, imported materials and equipment such as sch80 PVC, clean PVC and CQC, and finally completes the whole project according to the expected time node.
