A key section upgrade is about results, not equipment alone
A machine upgrade should not be evaluated by the machine alone. It should be evaluated by the result it brings to the process.
In feed production, one weak section can affect the whole outcome. This may happen in grinding, extrusion, coating, liquid addition, or another critical step where process consistency matters more than people initially expect.
That is why a key section upgrade is not simply about replacing old equipment. It is about improving:
- process stability
- product consistency
- output performance
- and the plant’s ability to run with fewer avoidable losses
When budgets are limited, the better question is often not “Which machine is newer?” but “Which section is creating the biggest loss or limiting the biggest opportunity?”
A targeted section upgrade can often create clearer value than a broader but less focused investment.
Which process section usually deserves priority in your opinion?
