AUA 2026 – Day 1: An Inspiring Start!

The first day at AUA Annual Meeting 2026 has been incredibly encouraging for HugeMed. We were honored to welcome strong booth traffic and engage in meaningful discussions with global partners, urologists, clinicians, and industry experts from around the world.

Beyond the exhibition floor, HugeMed's 6.3 Fr ureteroscope continues to gain growing academic and clinical recognition. Leading institutions including Mayo Clinic, Mount Sinai Health System, and University of Michigan have initiated research exploring the clinical potential of HugeMed's 6.3 Fr URS platform.

Highlights presented during the meeting include:

• A study from Mayo Clinic reporting a 100% successful deployment of the 6.3 Fr URS across both primary and complex flexible ureteroscopy (fURS) procedures.

• Research from Mount Sinai Health System demonstrating that combining the 6.3 Fr URS with an 8/10 Fr sheath achieved a Ratio of Endoscope-to-Sheath Diameter (RESD) close to the optimal value of 0.75, supporting effective irrigation flow and potentially lower intrarenal pressure in selected complex cases.

• Clinical presentations from University of Michigan highlighting why slim-line ureteroscopes may represent an important future direction in endourology.

At DDW 2026, HugeMed showcased our Single-use Biliary Pancreaticobiliary Scope together with the Single-use Duodenoscope, presenting a creative combination for advanced biliary and pancreaticobiliary procedures.

By integrating direct visualization with a fully single-use platform, this pairing demonstrated its potential to support single-operator visualized procedures — helping clinicians work with greater control while reducing potential tissue trauma and cross-contamination risks for patients.

First U.S. showcase at ACOG 2026!

We were excited to bring HugeMed's single-use hysteroscope to the U.S. for the first time at ACOG 2026 — and truly grateful for the strong interest and positive feedback from clinicians who experienced it firsthand.

With an outer diameter as small as 4.5 mm, HugeMed's single-use hysteroscope is designed to support anesthesia-free hysteroscopy in selected cases. Paired with a quick-mount touchscreen, it helps enable efficient diagnosis and treatment in office-based settings.

From streamlined workflow to intuitive handling, clinicians recognized its value in making hysteroscopy more efficient, accessible, and patient-friendly.

We look forward to bringing this solution to more healthcare professionals and clinical settings — advancing women's health with smarter, more efficient endoscopic care.
