Until today, there are still a lot of people is not familiar with slip ring product. Actually, slip ring has been widely used in various industries with the development of modern science, such as radar antenna, medical equipment, automation equipment, engineering machinery and equipment, cable reel, amusement equipment, display equipment, security equipment, crystal furnace, wire winding machine, robot, mechanical arm, windmills, military industry equipment, revolving door, instrumentation, packaging machine, environmental equipment, etc. Generally speaking, slip ring is a kind of high precision and one of signal transmission device of complex layout. The function of slipring is to realize signal or power transmitting for the rotor part and stator part in the equipment.

The main structure of slip ring is composed of the stator and rotor, which can be continuous two-way 360 degree rotating. The contacting materials of the stator and rotor use the precious metals such as gold and silver materials and some high-performance alloy material.Because contact material must enjoy the features of low resistance, low friction coefficient, resistance to corrosion, etc. Technically, if the resistance of slip ring is too big, it maybe happen overheating burn problem when both ends of the voltage is too large. However, if the coefficient of friction is too large through the friction between stator and rotor, slip ring will wear off soon so as to affect the service life. The wear resistance and high temperature resistance of slip ring is also one of the important performance index,because the slip ring need to transmit current continuously during rotating period and the vibration of device itself will on the need to constantly in the process of transfer current, and the vibration and friction of the device itself will make temperature higher.If you select not good temperature resistance slip ring that will cause short circuit or circuit broken problem.

Radar is an electronic device by using electromagnetic wave to detect the position, which emits radio waves to radiate and receive the echo of targets. As we all know that, radar is mainly used in the military field.

Three coordinates (azimuth, elevation angle and distance) of radar position measuring, measurements of two coordinates (azimuth and elevation) are directly related to the performance of antenna. Therefore, the performance antenna is more important for radar equipment than for other electronic devices (such as communication equipment, etc.)

The main purpose of radar antenna is to better receive and send data, usually placed in the outdoor, directly affected by wind, rain, snow and ice, dust, solar radiation, salt fog, etc. Also, it reduces the performance of antenna and shortens its work life time.
