As the core enterprise of CIMC Group's Energy, Chemical and Food Equipment Sector, CIMC Enric has established a full-industrial-chain layout covering "production, storage, transportation, refueling, and application" in the hydrogen energy field, serving as a leading domestic manufacturer of hydrogen energy key equipment and system solution provider. The introduction is presented from the aspects of technological layout, core products, typical projects, and market position as follows:
I. Technological Layout and Core Products
1. Hydrogen Energy Storage and Transportation Equipment
• High-Pressure Gaseous Storage and Transportation:
Launched China's first 30MPa carbon fiber-wound tube bundle hydrogen container, with a single-vehicle hydrogen carrying capacity of 656 kg. The transportation radius is doubled compared to traditional 20MPa equipment, and costs are reduced by over 30%. The product features an intelligent shut-off system for real-time monitoring of pressure and temperature, ensuring leading safety performance.
• Liquid Hydrogen Storage and Transportation:
Developed a 40-foot liquid hydrogen tank container, with a single-container transportation volume equivalent to 6-8 high-pressure gaseous hydrogen trailers, suitable for multimodal transport. It has received inquiries from multiple overseas customers. Additionally, it undertakes a special liquid hydrogen equipment project of the Ministry of Science and Technology and leads the formulation of China's first group standard for liquid hydrogen pressure vessels.
• Medium-Pressure Spherical Tank Hydrogen Storage:
Provided 15 × 2,000 m³ hydrogen spherical tanks for the Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park of China Energy Engineering Group, with a total tank capacity of 31,500 m³, representing the largest green hydrogen storage project under construction in China.
2. Core Equipment for Hydrogen Refueling Stations
• Compressor Technology:
Independently developed 90MPa liquid-driven compressors and 45MPa diaphragm compressors, achieving localization of core hydrogen refueling station equipment and reducing construction costs by 40%.
• Skid-Mounted Hydrogen Refueling Stations:
Delivered the first skid-mounted hydrogen refueling station to Hong Kong Citybus, with a daily refueling capacity of 2,000 kg, supporting IV-type vehicle-mounted hydrogen storage cylinders and hydrogen supply systems to enable commercial operation of hydrogen-powered buses.
3. Hydrogen Production and Application Extension
• Methanol-to-Hydrogen Equipment:
Introduced a skid-mounted methanol steam reforming hydrogen production unit, with a methanol conversion rate exceeding 98% and hydrogen purity reaching 99.99%. It meets on-site hydrogen production needs for refueling stations, reducing hydrogen usage costs to below ¥24/kg.
• Coke Oven Gas-to-Hydrogen:
Collaborated with Ansteel and Shougang to build coke oven gas-to-hydrogen projects with LNG co-production, with an annual hydrogen output of 12,000 tons, promoting the resource utilization of byproduct gas in the steel industry.
• Hydrogen Energy Cogeneration:
Developed a hydrogen energy cogeneration system with Panasonic, using waste heat from power generation for heating and improving energy utilization efficiency to over 85%. It is suitable for industrial parks and urban distributed energy scenarios.
II. Typical Projects and Market Position
1. Domestic Benchmark Projects
• Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park of China Energy Engineering Group:
Supplied 15 hydrogen spherical tanks and compressor buffer tanks to support the world's largest green hydrogen ammonia synthesis project with an annual output of 110,000 tons of green hydrogen.
• Tangshan 4,000 kg Hydrogen Refueling Station:
One of China's largest commercially operated hydrogen refueling stations, serving hydrogen fuel heavy trucks and promoting the construction of a hydrogen energy logistics network in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
2. International Expansion
• Hong Kong Hydrogen Bus Project:
Commissioned Hong Kong's first hydrogen refueling station and hydrogen bus in 2023, adopting IV-type hydrogen storage cylinder technology and serving over 2,000 passengers daily. It received the "Green Travel" demonstration certification from the Hong Kong SAR Government.
• Liquid Hydrogen Tank Container Exports:
The 40-foot liquid hydrogen tank container obtained EU TPED certification and entered the European semiconductor industry supply chain, replacing traditional high-pressure gaseous hydrogen transportation.
3. Industry Status
• Market Share:
Holds over 30% domestic market share in high-pressure hydrogen storage cylinders and has ranked first in hydrogen refueling station equipment bidding for five consecutive years.
• Technical Certifications:
Owns over 200 patents in the hydrogen energy field, has led/participated in formulating 12 national standards, and was listed as a "Specialized, Fined, Peculiar and New" Little Giant Enterprise by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
III. Strategic Planning and Partnerships
1. Strategic Objectives
Focuses on the "hydrogen energy full industrial chain" and "large-scale application of green hydrogen," planning to achieve a hydrogen energy business revenue share exceeding 20% by 2025, and promoting the commercialization of technologies such as liquid hydrogen storage/transportation and intelligent hydrogen refueling stations.
2. Key Collaborations
