We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences (MBAHS), Bagmati Province, Hetauda, on August 14, 2026. We are pleased to share a paper published on CCLM on primary aldosteronism diagnosis using the Snibe MAGLUMI X8 sandwich Aldosterone & Direct Renin immunoassays.

In endocrinology labs, primary aldosteronism (PA) is the most prevalent secondary hypertension, posing elevated risks of stroke, heart failure and renal damage. Traditional immunoassays often deliver inconsistent ARR cut‑off values, lacking uniform clinical standards. LC‑MS/MS, considered the gold standard, is limited by complicated operation and low throughput.

MAGLUMI® X8 Aldosterone & Direct Renin assay delivers distinct strengths: respectively traceability to JCTLM reference procedure and WHO international standard, excellent precision, as well as high‑throughput automated workflow optimized for large‑scale PA screening. This sandwich immunoassay is tailored to measure aldosterone and renin, supporting reliable ARR calculation for PA screening.

In this prospective multicenter study, MAGLUMI X8 shows consistent performance at low concentrations and establishes novel dedicated diagnostic cut‑offs for PA screening. Combined with confirmatory tests, it facilitates fast, accurate laboratory workup for patients with suspected primary aldosteronism.
