Yaskawa Robot: Brake Signal Line Grounding Detection
When the brake signal line has an abnormal current, the controller cuts off the DC 24V power and triggers Alarm 1683: 24V Power Supply Error (Servo).

Yaskawa's grounding detection function can then help identify which axis has a brake signal line fault, making troubleshooting more efficient.

Conditions: Teach Mode, Servo OFF, no emergency stop signal, and normal restart after Alarm 1683.

Yaskawa Robot Basics: What is TCP? 🤖
For beginners learning robot operation, TCP (Tool Center Point) is one of the most important concepts. TCP which is the exact working point of the robot tool, such as a welding torch, gripper, or laser head.

Why is TCP important?
✅ Ensures accurate robot movement
✅ Defines the correct working position of the tool
✅ Improves welding quality and repeatability

How to set TCP in Yaskawa robots?
1️⃣ Install the tool (welding torch/gripper) on the robot
2️⃣ Select TCP calibration function on the Yaskawa controller
3️⃣ Teach several reference points from different directions
4️⃣ The controller calculates and saves the tool coordinate data

After TCP calibration, the robot can accurately control the tool position during welding, handling, and other automation tasks.
