Why choose two stage compressor for textile industry air jet looms?
For example, one stage 90kw ERC-120SA is 15.4m3/min at 8bar, the power consumption is 90kw *1.2=108kw
If we choose two stage compressor 75kw ERC-100SA-I for textile industry, we can use choose 5bar to 6.5bar for bigger air delivery according to different air jet looms. Take 8bar as comparison, the air delivery is 16.2m3/min at 8bar , when 15.4m3/min air delivery, the power consumption for two stage 75kw at same 8bar is 86kw.
One stage and two stage power consumption difference is 22kw, for textile industry, the compressor works 24hours per day, 7days per week, so the total saved power for one year is 22kw*24*365=192720kwH.
