A focused day of learning, hands-on experience, and clinical exchange around TD-HDR for complex CTO-PCI.

The workshop brought together expert perspectives, technical discussions, hands-on training, and live cases, offering participating physicians a deeper understanding of TD-HDR techniques and their application in complex CTO intervention. During the workshop, the ™ workhorse wire, ™ LanceR (H curve), ™ 2.6F/3.2F microcatheters, and CONQUEROR™ balloon were used during the TD-HDR procedures.

Three days of hands-on learning and clinical exchange in Toronto.

From September 25–27, APT Medical joined the CAIC Fellows Course in Toronto together with our local partner, CHS, for a focused program on CTO PCI and retrograde techniques.

Across 6 hands-on workshop sessions, faculty shared practical insights into retrograde CTO techniques, using dedicated retrograde models to demonstrate procedural strategies and key technical considerations.

Participants tried our Guidewires and ™ Microcatheters firsthand and shared positive feedback on their handling and performance.

We sincerely thank the faculty, fellows, and our partner CHS for the valuable exchange and support throughout the course.

From Clinical Insights to Product Innovation

APT Medical welcomed interventional cardiologists from Malaysia and the Philippines to our R&D and manufacturing center as part of the China–Southeast Asia Interventional Cardiology Exchange.

During the visit, the experts explored APT Medical’s product development and manufacturing capabilities, covering the full process from raw materials and precision manufacturing to final product quality control.

The physicians also engaged in in-depth discussions with APT Medical’s R&D team on the design concepts and clinical applications of guidewires and microcatheters, sharing valuable clinical insights and feedback to support future product development.

Last week, APT Medical successfully hosted the China–Southeast Asia Interventional Cardiology Exchange at the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, bringing together interventional cardiologists from China, Malaysia, and the Philippines to exchange clinical insights on complex CTO PCI.

The program featured live observation of three CTO cases, with discussions focusing on retrograde CTO strategies, procedural planning, and device selection. Four international experts shared their clinical experience and explored approaches to challenging CTO interventions.

During the procedures, APT Medical’s CTO solutions, including the iPass™ Pro 1.7F Microcatheter, ™ 2.6F Microcatheter, and ™ 0.6 Guidewire, were used to support complex lesion crossing.

A key highlight was the discussion on clinical–engineering collaboration—working closely with physicians to understand clinical challenges and continuously refine solutions based on clinical needs. This approach is reflected in Huflex, co-developed with Professor Hu’s team at The Second Xiangya Hospital.

APT Day in South Africa | 5 Days of CTO PCI Clinical Exchange

We were delighted to collaborate with Dr. Sevket Gorgulu (Turkey) on a series of CTO workshops in Johannesburg, South Africa, featuring challenging CTO PCI cases and in-depth discussions on procedural strategies and techniques.

Across the five-day program, physicians had the opportunity to exchange clinical experience and explore APT Medical’s CTO solutions in real-world CTO PCI cases, including C&P 0.3g, ™ LanceR (1.5g, 3.0g, 6.0g), ™ Microcatheters (1.7F, 1.9F, 2.6F, 3.2F), and ™ GEC.

✨ CanCTO 2026 has come to a close in Toronto!

Over two days, APT Medical hosted six rounds of hands-on workshops and a symposium on Retrograde CTO PCI.

Through the workshops, physicians had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with APT Medical’s CTO solutions, while the symposium provided a platform for clinical exchange on retrograde CTO PCI strategies and techniques, including insights into the use of Guidewires.

We sincerely thank all the physicians and partners who joined us and contributed to the valuable discussions. Thanks also to the CanCTO organizing committee for their great support.
