It take us 9 hours 15 days for 120 pcs. it is a heat sink.
Scheduling, calculating time, multiple clamping setups, and worst of all โ€“ non-stop shifts!
But precision control and data inspection can't be ignoredใ€‚ Heat dissipation fins possibly loose tolerances, but boss height and circular port interfaces much be accurate.especially the down sure-face.
Why so time costly๏ผŸ
It have Two surfaces to machine, thus Two twice clamping setups.
due to it is such big part.
The cutter must feed slowly to achieve a glossy surface finish. Process specifications need to consider.

Why not 5axis machining it will be faster and only one clamping๏ผŸ
Oh no 5 axis machining is costly.to save the cost we make them by 3 axis machining.
But if we make mold casting, shallow milling produce faster.
The problem is that up to the qty.
