Interestingly, the small end of the roller and part of the column center face a three-dimensional compressive stress. As you move towards the large end, the tensile stress increases, which can lead to intergranular deformation in the metal composite material. This can ultimately reduce its plastic deformation capabilities.

⚠️ If the blank or mold specifications are poorly designed, or if the raw materials are subpar, cracks can form at the large end fillet of the cylindrical roller. Additionally, friction between the blank and mold, along with uneven internal structures and unreasonable mold specifications, can create extra stress fields. This not only diminishes the plastic deformation of the metal composite but also increases thermal stress in precision cross bearing rollers.
