A lightweight block production line isn't simply a collection of machines placed inside a factory.

On August 27, a client from Côte d'Ivoire visited Guangzhou Hengde to understand the complete lightweight block production process, equipment configuration and factory layout.

During the meeting, our team used the project layout to explain the major stages of the production line and how the different equipment works together.

The required configuration can change significantly depending on:

Target production capacity
Level of automation
Product specifications
Available factory space
Labor availability
Power supply
Future expansion plans

Factory planning is also important.

The site needs to allow enough space for equipment installation, maintenance, material movement and potential future expansion.

After the meeting, the client visited the production workshop to see the actual equipment being manufactured and assembled.

This helped connect the project layout with the physical equipment and gave the client a clearer understanding of how each machine fits into the complete production process.

For overseas projects, we normally need to confirm several basic conditions before finalizing an equipment solution:

Raw materials + product specifications + target output + factory conditions + power supply

These details help determine the appropriate equipment configuration and reduce the possibility of major adjustments after the equipment arrives at the customer's site.

A production line should be designed around the project—not the other way around.

How much money do you really need to prepare to build a lightweight block factory in Indonesia?

This was one of the main questions from an Indonesian client who visited Guangzhou Hengde on August 26.

But the client wasn't simply asking about the price of one machine.

The real questions were:

🏭 What production capacity should the factory target?

⚙️ How should the 免蒸压加气块设备 be configured?

🏗️ How large does the factory need to be?

👷 How many workers are required?

🚢 After the equipment arrives in Indonesia, who will handle installation and operator training?

In 2025, Indonesia's construction industry accounted for approximately 9.83% of GDP, making it an important sector of the local economy.

But even when the market is promising, building a factory requires a complete calculation.

The budget needs to consider:

• Raw materials
• Factory and site
• Equipment
• Molds
• Labor
• Transportation
• Installation
• Technical training
• Long-term production costs

A 免蒸压加气块生产线 is not simply a machine purchase.

Before deciding on equipment, you need to understand the investment required for the entire project.

The right question isn't only “How much is the equipment?”
It's “How much do I need to make the whole factory work?”

On August 26, an Indonesian client visited Guangzhou Hengde to inspect lightweight block production equipment.

But unlike a simple equipment inquiry, this client was mainly interested in the bigger picture.

If they build a lightweight block production project in Indonesia:

How much will the entire project require?
What equipment configuration is suitable?
Can local raw materials be used?
How should production capacity be planned?
Who will install the equipment?
How will local workers be trained?

During the visit, Hengde's team discussed the overall production line configuration, estimated project investment, production process and technical training arrangements.

For overseas factory projects, the equipment price is only one part of the investment.

The production line also needs to match the local raw materials, factory space, target capacity and available labor.

And after the equipment arrives, installation, commissioning and operator training still need to be completed.

That's why choosing an equipment supplier isn't simply about finding the lowest machine price.

It's about finding a solution that can actually be planned, installed, commissioned and operated in the local market.

The equipment is only the beginning.
Getting the factory running is the real goal.

The first visit is often about understanding the equipment.

The second visit is about making sure the details are right.

On August 20, a Vietnamese client returned to Guangzhou Hengde to further confirm the lightweight block production line.

This time, the client focused on:

• Equipment configuration
• Product specifications
• Local raw material compatibility
• Automation level
• Installation and operator training

So why make a second trip?

Because a production line should not exist only in a proposal.

At Hengde, customers can see the production process on-site, watch the cutting equipment operate, and directly check the dimensions and cutting results of the finished blocks.

Hengde's cutting system can achieve cutting accuracy of up to ±1 mm, while the complete production line can be configured according to the customer's local raw materials, factory conditions and target production capacity.

For industrial equipment, seeing the machine actually run can tell you much more than a specification sheet.

Don't just ask whether the equipment works. Come and see it cut.

When a lightweight block factory can't increase production, many people first look at the formula.

But the formula isn't always the problem.

Sometimes, the real bottleneck is the production rhythm between different stages:

Demolding → Cutting → Transfer → Stacking

If one stage is significantly slower than the others, products start waiting, equipment sits idle, and the actual daily output falls.

That's why a production line should be evaluated as a complete system.

At Guangzhou Hengde, we can assess an existing production line and identify which processes are actually limiting production.

Equipment that can still work efficiently doesn't necessarily need to be replaced.

Instead, we focus on upgrading the key bottlenecks that affect:

• Production capacity
• Cutting efficiency
• Material flow
• Labor requirements
• Overall line coordination

If your factory is producing less than expected, don't immediately assume you need a completely new line.

What is one of the biggest bottlenecks in a lightweight block production line designed for 200 m³ per day?

Sometimes, it's not the pouring speed.

It's the cutting stage.

With older reciprocating saw systems, cutting speed can become a limiting factor. The green body may also require suitable cutting conditions, and when the material becomes harder, cutting efficiency can drop.

Then another problem appears:

Unstable cutting dimensions can increase waste, rework and production losses.

That's why, when upgrading an existing production line, the first system to improve isn't always mixing or pouring.

Sometimes, the cutting system is where the real bottleneck is.

Hengde's servo-controlled CNC cutting system is designed for stable and precise cutting, with cutting accuracy up to ±1 mm and a kerf of approximately 2 mm.

The principle is simple:

The front end can produce quickly, but if the cutting stage can't keep up, designed capacity remains only a number on paper.

For a 200 m³/day line, every production stage needs to work together.

You've probably seen this kind of lightweight block demonstration:

A block is dropped into water.

It floats.

And then someone says: “This means the block is good quality.”

Not exactly.

A block floating in water can be a very visual demonstration that the product has relatively low density.

But for actual construction applications, low density alone is not enough.

Indonesia's SNI 8640:2018 lightweight concrete block standard covers both AAC and CLC products, with a stated density range of 400–1,400 kg/m³.

But a qualified product also needs to be evaluated for other important factors, including:

• Compressive strength
• Dimensional consistency
• Drying shrinkage
• Product specifications
• Actual application requirements

That's why one of the biggest misconceptions about lightweight blocks is:

“The lighter, the better.”

In real production, the goal is not simply to reduce density as much as possible.

A good lightweight block needs to balance:

Low density + adequate strength + stable dimensions + consistent mass production.

Floating is an interesting demonstration.

But a production line needs to produce qualified blocks consistently—not just blocks that float.

People in construction understand one thing very well:

When building materials don't arrive on time, the entire project can be affected.

On August 14, a Saudi client visited Guangzhou Hengde to inspect a foam concrete block production line.

The client already has construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

That makes this project different from a traditional factory investment.

The goal isn't simply to manufacture blocks and then search for customers.

The lightweight blocks will mainly be used for the client's own construction projects.

So his questions were very practical:

• Can local raw materials be used?
• What daily production capacity is appropriate?
• Who will install the equipment after it arrives in Saudi Arabia?
• Can local workers learn the production process efficiently?

For construction companies with a steady demand for wall materials, producing their own blocks can provide another way to manage material supply, scheduling and project coordination.

From construction projects to wall material production.

Sometimes, the clearest reason to build a factory is that the demand already exists.
