Two FANUC servo motors arrived from our customer, both showing Alarm 411.

During testing, we replaced encoders, installed the missing coupling, and cross-tested the parts with different motors and drives. Along the way, new alarms appeared, including Alarm 410 and Alarm 439, which made the troubleshooting process more complicated.

After multiple rounds of testing and verification, we finally identified the real problem.

In industrial maintenance, troubleshooting is often about eliminating possibilities step by step.
Even test equipment may introduce unexpected variables, so repeated cross-testing is sometimes the only way to find the root cause.

Watch the full troubleshooting process in our latest video.
