D16 or D28? Start with the Job, Not the Table Size.
Choosing a welding table is not simply about picking the larger system.
For smaller brackets, sheet metal parts, small frames and stainless steel assemblies, D16 with a 50 Γ 50 mm hole grid offers more positioning points with smaller, lighter fixtures.
For machine frames, large steel structures and heavier fabrication, D28 with a 100 Γ 100 mm grid provides a more robust fixture setup. It is also a practical choice for production and robotic welding applications.
At Bocheng Co-creation, we manufacture both D16 and D28 welding tables, along with matching clamps, stops, locating pins and angle brackets. Q355 steel is commonly used, and nitrided versions are available with typical surface hardness of 550β600 HV.
Not sure which system fits your workpieces? Send us a drawing, photo, or basic information about your parts. Weβll help you compare D16 and D28 based on the actual job.
