They also run more quietly, consume less power & produce less heat than a traditional HDD. Designed to replace traditional hard drives, Solid Age SSD´s give your data extra layers of protection. The Solid Age Drive line-up includes 512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB and 4TB models. The Solid Age “Stark” is manufactured under a patented rugged system, employing the latest state of the art equipment. A multi layered configuration is used to ensure that the SSD is adequately protected. The outermost layer is the casing, which consists of 316 Marine Grade stainless steel, where anti crushing safety is assured by both non deformable sides. Below that, a layer of fire protection insulation similar to that used in the manufacturing process of flight data recorders. Finally, a water proof coating protects the unit against water, moisture, dust & sand. In the end, its own components ensure the Stark is unique and without competition. The Solid Age "Brick" is constructed of rugged aluminium & steel. Its IP67 certified USB connector is completely protected against dust & against the effects of liquid immersion. The Brick is especially effective for use in manufacturing plants & areas where a high concentration of particles or dust are usual, or in settings where vibration or shocks are the norm.
