Bummer. Still happens too often. Fortunately everyone OK. One of our customers in the area responded to the incident with one of their fully equipped Spill Response Trailers. Some 50,000 liter of A1 Jet fuel there...

There is so much I take for granted in the hazmat industry I live. It would appear that even the most basic fundamentals are not being taught to people appointed to 'responder' roles... very sad, and indeed unfair on individuals. But certainly a sign of lack of government incentive to educate, to become proficient.

Another great example of our Gen III unit to deploy in inshore protected waterways and bays, shorelines, run-off areas. As always, emphasis is on 'stop, contain, capture, remove'. All the tools for the right job in tidy 26' package for a client in a pristine area of British Columbia. 1 of 3 units this month.

This set of tools provides the solutions to incidents that off-shore spill responders simply don't know how to deal with. Shoreline Clean-up Assessment Technique (S**T) is our guide to much of this type response unit. Rapid response is the mantra.

Nobody else in the world builds them to this level of versatility and effectiveness.

The second phase of our engagement with a local client complete: not just a sea-can with pads, but a seacan that has most the tools to cope with a sizeable spill on-shore, AND inner seaways. Lots of thought gone into this one.

The result is an amazing effort to protect the pristine waters and shorelines of southern Vancouver Island, arguably some of the most valuable waterways in all of Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

Another bunch of skids going out to a pro-active client, a partial shipment to assemble appropriate types of spill materials and tools for caches on some of our pristine islands in the Salish Sea. Thank you for being proactive.

We'll have the seacan and the trailer following in the next week or so.
