June is Indigenous History Month, and with National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, it's an important time to recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, contributions, and leadership of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.
At Challenger Geomatics, the relationships we’ve built with Indigenous communities are foundational to who we are and how we work. Through partnerships, collaboration, and shared learning, we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside Indigenous groups across Western and Northern Canada for many years. These relationships continue to shape our team, strengthen our work, and create opportunities that extend beyond the projects themselves.
Indigenous Peoples have deep connections to the land, and we recognize the importance of listening, learning, and working respectfully within the communities where we operate. We are proud to support Indigenous partnerships that help build local geomatics capacity, create meaningful opportunities, and contribute to long-term prosperity.
Today, and throughout Indigenous History Month, we encourage everyone to take time to learn about the cultures, histories, contributions, and voices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.
