Inspiration drawn from the Credit River, and my great grand uncle, WWII Veteran Justin Roy Ba.
For 50+ years, Justin made a living operating a sheet metal business in Mesa, Arizona.
He had a passion for restoring classic cars, exploring mountainsides to add to his impressive rock collection, as well as creating abstract wall sculptures made of riveted copper and brass.
This past winter we were fortunate to have a visit at his home just days before his passing.
This sculpture spanning at 55’ across, winding through the space of the Great Hall will be my largest work created.
It will be fabricated from copper sheet, riveted to an aluminum frame.
A tribute to Justin, his craft, and respect to the waters of the Credit River.
Special shout out to for her continued support in these public art projects. Also to for the concept rendering.
