An ICF wall is not a product you add to a conventional build. It is a whole-wall system doing six jobs at once: structure, continuous insulation, air barrier, vapour control, sound attenuation and the fastening surfaces the trades need — all in one assembly, placed once.
What that means in practice is roughly R-23+ wall performance depending on the assembly, reinforced concrete strength in every wall, fire and wind resistance, excellent sound reduction, resistance to mould and moisture, no wood in the exterior structural walls, and lower operating costs for as long as the building stands. It is compatible with Net Zero and Passive House targets rather than fighting them.
South Sask ICF supplies, designs and installs across Saskatchewan — Element ICF systems, HALO rigid insulation and Heat-Sheet radiant floor panels, helical pile supply and installation, architectural design and drafting, estimating, and certified installation from basements and grade beams through full above-grade structures. Residential, commercial, agricultural and institutional.
