FFW is proud to announce it's most recent accomplishment!

We are now a CWB certified company under CSA W47.1 division 2 standards.

This certification qualifies us to contract, fabricate, and install commercial structural steel and miscellaneous metals

Our CWB Certification Includes

- Structural Steel
SMAW (Stick) and GMAW (MIG) welding procedures.

- Handrails & Guardrails – Steel
SMAW (Stick) and GMAW (MIG) procedures.

- Handrails & Guardrails – Stainless Steel
GTAW (TIG) welding procedures.

This is a major milestone for FFW and a big step toward expanding our fabrication capabilities across the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region.

Big news — FFW is heading to FABTECH Toronto for the very first time!

I can’t wait to dive into the newest welding and fabrication tech, meet industry pros, and bring home fresh ideas that will spark fresh approaches to how we weld and fabricate.

On June 8, look up! — you might catch me and the family cruising toward Billy Bishop Airport in our Beechcraft Musketeer ✈️. This trip is going to be one for the books, both for the business and for us personally.

Ripped open excavator bucket.

Closed the gap, realigned side wall and added reinforcement plate with multi-pass welds inside and out.

Sorry for not taking pictures before realigning the gap, getting the job done right was the main goal as usual!👍

Just finished widening this massive V-plow to 12'-6" wide x 7' tall and fabricating a custom quick attach frame to mount on a Komatsu 320 loader.
