🔧 Winter Shop Work

Over the years we’ve rebuilt countless John Deere, Case, and New Holland transmissions, often using aftermarket parts and thinking outside the box to find the best solutions for our customers.

This winter we repaired the transmission on a John Deere 6155M. Instead of replacing the crown and pinion shaft — which would have required additional repairs and significant cost — we worked with one of our trusted high-precision welding and machine shops to refurbish the main transmission shaft.

Once it was returned to us, we were able to complete the rebuild without replacing the entire gear set, which saved the customer thousands of dollars.

We are always looking for practical, cost-effective solutions to keep equipment running.

Yesterday we made the trip up to Renfrew for a super informative dealer day with Sveaverken — and wow, lots of exciting things coming down the pipeline. It was great to see new products in person, talk autosteer, and get a preview of what’s ahead.

Two standouts from the day:

FS100 Precision Sprayer Control
This system works seamlessly with our F200 Max autosteer. It offers rate control and individual section control — meaning variable flow and pressure based on driving speed, plus up to 7 individual section shut-offs. A big win for efficiency and accuracy.

🐄 Robotic Feed Pusher
This one was really cool — adaptive movement with smart, vision-based navigation, 100% autonomous, and fully remote controlled. A great option for improving consistency while saving time and labour.
