The Dino never wore a Ferrari badge. Not on the nose, not on the wheels, not anywhere on the car.

Enzo built it because Formula 2 rules meant he needed a production V6, and 500 of them. He didn't want a six-cylinder car carrying the Ferrari name — so it got his son's name instead. Alfredino, who drew up the V6 and died at twenty-four, ten years before the car reached the road.

Pininfarina's shape is the part everyone remembers, and plenty of people will still tell you it's the most beautiful thing Maranello ever built.

The 964 Turbo 3.6 was the end of something. Last of the air-cooled Turbos, built for one year only, and the one that made the widowmaker reputation stick — 360 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, no traction control, and a turbo that arrived all at once.

Norev's 1:18 in black, and black is right for this car. Wide arches, the fixed whale tail, Cup wheels. Nothing about the shape is asking to be liked.

Every 1:18 needs a display case. Most of the time you find that out after the model arrives, and a decent acrylic one runs $40-60.

Polistil puts one in the box.

The current 1:18 range is modern Ferrari — the Roma in Rosso Corsa and Magma Red, the 12Cilindri, the Purosangue. Diecast body, opening doors, hood and trunk, steerable front wheels, detailed engine bay.

Three seconds of that clip and you thought it was a real Supra parked somewhere.

It's Kyosho's 1:18 of the orange MkIV from the first film — the Brian car. Bomex kit, the twin-scoop hood, the chrome five-spokes, and the green graphics down the flank that everyone who was fourteen in 2001 can draw from memory.

Kyosho works on allocation. You commit months ahead and take what you're given, and when the factory calls it done there's no reorder. This one came in with the September crate.

Ferrari built 1,311 F40s. Enzo's last car — no ABS, no power steering, no door handles, just a wire loop to pull it shut.

This is the Lightweight with the LM wing.

Kyosho makes these in small numbers and this one is already sold out at the factory. What I have is what exists.

In 2017 this thing lapped the Nürburgring in 7:43.80 — the fastest front-driver ever built, quicker than the Golf Clubsport S and quicker than every Type R before it.

Honda never offered an automatic. Not once.
