Not every service call happens close to the branch.

From industrial yards and plants to remote hydroelectric sites, field service means going where the equipment is to keep operations moving.

These are some of the environments our technicians work in - supporting uptime in places where delays are expensive and access is not always simple.

Safety isn’t built through one meeting, one policy, or one reminder.

It’s built through the habits repeated every day:
training, awareness, communication, inspections, and looking out for the people around you.

National Safety Month is a reminder that strong safety cultures are created through consistency - on jobsites, in warehouses, in shops, and anywhere work gets done.

Because safety isn’t a checklist.
It’s the culture.

Together, we lift our world and everything in it.

National Heat Awareness Day is a good reminder that summer conditions are just around the corner.

Warmer temperatures can impact operators, equipment performance, visibility, and overall jobsite conditions across warehouses, construction sites, and industrial operations.

Preparing ahead of seasonal demand means reviewing safety procedures, operator awareness, hydration practices, and equipment readiness before temperatures peak.

Leavitt Machinery offers online safety and operator training courses designed to help support safer operations throughout the summer season. 👉 https://www.leavittmachinery.com/training/online-training?utm_campaign=facebook&utm_source=internal&utm_medium=social

Members of our Tukwila team recently attended the Impact for Good: Blooming Brighter Futures luncheon in Seattle in support of Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington.

The event brought together community partners committed to supporting workforce readiness, education, and employment opportunities across the region. Throughout the afternoon, stories were shared about the real impact these programs have in helping individuals build confidence, develop new skills, and create long-term stability for themselves and their families.

A big thank you to Matthew Brumfield and the Tukwila team for representing Leavitt Machinery at the event and for sharing these great moments with us.

We are proud to support organizations that invest directly into the communities they serve and help create meaningful opportunities for people to grow and succeed.

Together, we lift our world and everything in it.

Sometimes the best shop meetings happen around a grill.

The Coquitlam team took a break this week for a branch BBQ and team lunch - good food, good people, and a chance to catch up outside the day-to-day workflow.

Thanks to Derek Franco for making the rest of us jealous and showing us what we missed. 😉

Experience doesn’t eliminate risk. Sometimes it hides it.

Shortcuts creep in. Checks get rushed. Old habits stick, even when equipment, sites, and standards change.

That’s why refresher training matters.

It helps experienced operators slow down, reset expectations, and catch issues before they turn into incidents or downtime.

We broke down six reasons refresher training still matters for experienced operators 👇https://http://www.leavittmachinery.com/blog/training/6-reasons-why-refresher-training-is-a-must-for-experienced-equipment-operators/?utm_campaign=facebook&utm_source=internal&utm_medium=social

A lot of experience in one photo.

Always great seeing teams from across Ontario together, connecting, sharing knowledge, and putting faces to the names behind the day-to-day work.

Shout out to Kyle Crawford for sending this one in.

Cheers, Ontario. 🍻

Every extra foot of aisle costs you. Warehouse capacity is not only a square-footage problem.

It is an aisle decision.

Every extra foot allocated to travel space is a foot not assigned to storage, pick face, staging, or inventory flexibility. In facilities where SKU count increases faster than building size, your forklift becomes part of the real estate strategy.

That is where articulated narrow-aisle equipment changes the conversation.
