We want to address the concerns we've received regarding the seagull problem at the marina.
First, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share your concerns. We understand the frustration. Unfortunately, the seagull deterrent that has worked in previous years has not been effective this season.
As a volunteer board, we have been actively looking for solutions. We have already purchased additional bird deterrents and are currently waiting for them to arrive so they can be installed as soon as possible.
While we are doing everything we can, it's important to remember that this is a marina, and seagulls are naturally attracted to these environments. We are committed to making improvements where possible, but we also recognize that there is no guaranteed solution.
If anyone has constructive suggestions or has seen effective deterrents used successfully at other marinas, we are certainly open to hearing them.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and support as we continue to work on this issue.
