We are a busy metal fabrication shop looking for a dependable and motivated Apprentice Welder who has already started their apprenticeship. This position is ideal for someone currently registered and looking to gain solid, hands-on shop experience working on custom fabrication projects.

🛠️ Responsibilities
• Assist welders and fabricators with daily shop tasks
• Perform MIG welding and basic fabrication under supervision
• Operate shop equipment (saws, grinders, drills, etc)
• Measure, cut, prep, and fit materials
• Read and interpret shop drawings and fabrication prints
• Tack and fit components prior to final welding
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

✅ Requirements
• Must be a registered Apprentice Welder (1st year or higher)
• Strong interest in fabrication and welding as a long-term career
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow drawings
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Physically capable of working in a shop environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Valid driver’s license

• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing shop
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (square, calipers)
