We replaced every trackpad bolt on this excavator after the client kept having them loosen off. 🔧

With age, bolts stretch and the mating surfaces get worn, dirty, and packed with grime—so no matter how tight you crank them, they won’t hold.

We pulled each trackpad, cleaned everything down to bare metal, resurfaced the rails, installed brand-new hardware, and hammered them home with the 1” impact. 💥

Basic mechanical work like this is in our wheelhouse. From heavy equipment to light-duty and transport vehicles, we’ve worked on it all.

Recently completed the first phase of a cool project for Cowboy Up Trucking. I’ve been cutting pipe to length and hand-coping the ends to build a series of big steel archways that will span across roadways between different sections of property. These arches will be tall and wide enough for his rigs and anything he hauls on a trailer.

I made a custom stencil to match the smaller vertical pipes to the 8” horizontal pipe, marked each piece, and cut everything by hand with a propane-oxygen torch. Cleaned them up with a grinder, test-fit them on a short section of the 8” pipe, and everything lined up perfectly.

Next step: assembly and weld-out. 🤘🔥

Fun fact: I built the wooden tool box shown in the photos with my grandfather when I was like 5 years old.
