July has been a busy one! The weather has finally turned around, and crops are looking great across the area.
As a proud member of AgLink Canada, we had the opportunity to participate in this year’s work exchange program. Over the past three weeks, Charlie joined Canada from Australia, spending time with three different ag retailers. We were fortunate to host him at Grow Plan for six days.
During his stay, we took Charlie crop touring to showcase our local farming practices and gave him a taste of life in and around Choiceland. He experienced the best of small-town Saskatchewan—joining in our Sports Day celebrations and even playing his very first game of slo-pitch!
It was a pleasure getting to know Charlie, and we wish him all the best as he wraps up his time in Saskatchewan and heads home to Australia.
Now it’s our turn! In September, our very own agronomist, John, will be travelling to Australia for three weeks as part of the exchange. We can’t wait to hear about his experiences and everything he learns while he’s there.
