⚓ Welcome Loopers! ⚓

One of the things we love most about boating is the incredible sense of community that comes with it.

This beautiful Great Loop vessel recently stopped at Grand Harbour Marina needing repairs. Unfortunately, the vessel was simply too large and too heavy for our marine travel lift to accommodate. But when boaters need help, we find solutions!

Within an hour, our Harbour Master Mike had arranged for a professional diver to be on-site and complete the necessary repairs, allowing these Loopers to continue their incredible journey.

That’s what makes the boating community so special — people helping people, sharing knowledge, resources, and lending a hand when it’s needed most.

To all of our Loopers passing through, welcome to Grand Harbour Marina! We invite you to relax, enjoy our facilities, and experience the hospitality that makes Lagoon City such a special stop along the Great Loop.

Grand Harbour Marina is growing, and we’re looking for great people to join our team for the 2026 season and beyond!

If you take pride in your work, able to work independently and take initiative, enjoy being part of a team, and want to work in one of Ontario’s most beautiful waterfront settings, we’d love to hear from you.

Current Opportunities Include:

🧹 Part-Time Seasonal Cleaning Staff
Perfect for detail-oriented individuals who take pride in keeping our facilities spotless and welcoming.

🔧 Maintenance Staff
Must have your own tools. Trade experience is an asset. Help maintain and improve our marina facilities and grounds.

⚓ Marine Mechanic / Apprentice
We’re continuing to grow our service department! Marine experience required. Must have your own tools. Diesel engine experience is a strong asset.

🛥️ Parts Counter Team Member – Ship Chandlery
Help our boating customers find the parts, accessories, and supplies they need. Marine knowledge and the ability to work independently are strong assets.

🌿 Experienced In-House Landscaper
We’re looking for a skilled landscaper who can help beautify our grounds, maintain gardens and waterfront areas, operate landscaping equipment, and create attractive outdoor spaces including fire pits, gathering areas, decorative stonework, and more. Certifications and experience with chainsaws and other gas-powered equipment are highly valued.

Do you love being part of the community? Enjoy meeting new people, planning events, and helping create unforgettable experiences?

If you’re passionate about Lagoon City, Grand Harbour Marina, and bringing people together for a season full of fun, we need YOU!

Our Social Committee is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help plan and organize events, activities, and gatherings for both our marina members and the community. We have lots of exciting ideas, but time is slipping away and we could use some extra hands to help make it all happen.
