NOW HIRING: Apprentice Pipefitter

We are currently looking for experienced Apprentice Fitters and Laborers to join our team for full-time oilfield construction work throughout Alberta.

📍 Applicants MUST be located within 30 minutes of Blackfalds.

What we offer:

• Full-time, permanent & apprenticeship opportunities

• LOA provided for away-from-home projects

• Daily travel provided for road work

• Transportation to and from job sites

• Opportunities for both shop and field work

Work areas include:

Blackfalds, Central Alberta, Grande Prairie, Edmonton & Edson.

Requirements:

✔ Minimum 1 year of experience in oilfield facilities and pipeline construction

✔ Experience with bolt-up, hydrotesting, measuring assistance, engineered drawings, working with welders, field installs & general pipeline labor duties

✔ Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team environment

✔ Willingness to travel (50%)

Required current tickets:

• H2S

• First Aid

• WHMIS 2015

• CSTS 2020 & CSO

• Ground Disturbance

• Work throughout Central Alberta, Edmonton, Northern Alberta & shop-based projects in Blackfalds

Requirements:

✔ Minimum 4 years of experience in oilfield facilities and pipeline construction

✔ Strong leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team

Big things are coming together in the shop at Vise Energy Services.

These LACT Units are currently under construction at our Blackfalds, Alberta facility, where our team has the space, equipment, and experience to take projects from fabrication to final assembly efficiently and safely.

✔️ 10,000 sq. ft. fabrication shop
✔️ 11,000 sq. ft. office space
✔️ Two overhead cranes with 10-ton and 15-ton capacities
✔️ 6,000 sq. ft. covered assembly and manufacturing area with dedicated crane

WE’RE HIRING – APPRENTICE WELDERS & HELPERS

We’re looking to add Apprentice Welders and Welder Helpers to our crew for full-time oilfield construction work based out of our Blackfalds shop.
If you’re reliable, motivated, and not afraid of hard work—this is a great opportunity to build your career in the trade.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Shop & field work
Cutting, fitting, grinding & structural welding support
Assisting welders and maintaining a clean, safe worksite

What We’re Looking For:
Mechanical aptitude & strong work ethic
Team-oriented and self-motivated
2+ years of welding experience preferred
Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
Valid class 5 driver's license

Required Tickets:
✅ CSO / CSTS
✅ H2S Alive
✅ First Aid
✅ WHMIS 2015

Assets (Not Required):
➕ Aerial Lift
➕ Fall Protection
