Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: PALAPYE

Job Description

This is a full-time Sales Representative based in Palapye. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, creating and managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
The Sales Representative will also conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and provide input on product development and marketing strategy esp for Power tools, Welding Equipment,Lubricants, Consumables etc

Responsibilities

Generating leads
Meeting or exceeding sales goals
Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
Preparing weekly and monthly reports
Giving sales presentations to prospective clients
Coordinating marketing activities to achieve sales target.
Understanding and promoting company programs, brand, products and services.
Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
Maintaining client records
Answering client questions about product, prices, and availability.

Qualifications / Requirements

Diploma in Sales&Marketing, Business Admin, or a related field
3+ years of experience sales
Demonstrated experience in Marketing, business development and sales
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
Preferably someone with a good Knowledge and understanding of the BPC&Mines industry and Technical Product Marketing.
A commitment to excellent customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
Competency in Microsoft applications
Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
Class B Driver's License is a requirement
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to travel within assigned territory

This Friday , President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi will officiate at the ground breaking of the much awaited Jindal's Mmamabula Coal Project, hosted by Minister of Minerals & Energy Lefoko Maxwell Moagi.

Jindal’s coal resource is located in the Mmamabula Coalfields of south-eastern Botswana, adjacent to the country’s main road and rail corridor which links the country’s capital, Gaborone, with its second largest city, Francistown.

On 25th of July 2023 , Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) and Jindal Energy singed a watershed Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that will see the Indian industrial giant build a 300MW power plant, feed it with coal from its own Mmamabula Mine and supply power to BPC for 30 years.

Jindal Energy beat Minergy Limited and Sese Power to win a bid to build a 300 Megawatt coal power generation station and sell power to state owned Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), government announced in November
