We are proud to announce that on 30th January 2026, Mandala Consultants, in association with Design2Occupancy, officially signed a contract with the National Housing Development Corporation Limited (NHDCL) of Bhutan.
𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
Mandala will be serving as the Independent Third-Party Advisory Experts for the "Enhancing Climate Resilience of the Urban Landscapes and Communities in Thimphu-Paro Region" (ECRUL) project. This isn't just a project; it’s a commitment to the future of Bhutanese infrastructure. Our role involves:
𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 & 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 : Providing technical expertise for the design of a new structure in Thimphu and the retrofitting of another in Paro.
𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 : Ensuring the seamless incorporation of Nature-based Solutions (NbS), green building principles (utilizing EDGE standards), and climate-resilient features like flood and heatwave mitigation.
𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 : Providing critical, impartial oversight to ensure compliance with national building codes and international best practices.
