Bhutan Automation participated in the 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Development of Hydropower in the Himalayas, held from 20–21 November 2025 at Paro, where experts, engineers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the region gathered to discuss the future of hydropower in the Himalayan region.
Over the two-day event, the conference featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and technical sessions highlighting sustainability, innovation, and long-term hydropower development. Delegates explored themes including resilient infrastructure, digital transformation, dam safety, environmental balance, and advanced engineering solutions suited for Himalayan conditions.
As part of the event, Bhutan Automation took part in the technical exhibition, showcasing its range of services and solutions in electrical automation, protection systems, control logic development, SCADA communication, and engineering support for hydropower plants. The company demonstrated its ongoing work in modernizing hydropower operations through innovation and practical field expertise.
The exhibition allowed delegates, engineers, and international participants to interact with the Bhutan Automation team, learn about the company’s ongoing projects, and explore opportunities for collaboration in automation and sustainable hydropower development.
