🌟 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🌟

The IEEE AUST APS-MTTS Joint Student Branch Chapter is honored to highlight one of the visionary minds joining us at the upcoming IEEE International Conference on Microwaves, Antennas and Remote Sensing (MARSCON 2026).

We are thrilled to introduce our invited speaker 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗶. She is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, Canada. She completed her B.Sc. in Iran and her Ph.D. at the University of Alberta (2019), where she developed novel resonant metasurfaces. She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto and later worked at Syntronic R&D Canada on RF filters and multi-band antennas for 5G and IoT systems. Her research focuses on metasurfaces, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, antenna arrays, and radar imaging. She is an IEEE award recipient, actively serves in IEEE leadership roles, and is also an Adjunct Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University.

We are thrilled to introduce our invited speaker 𝗗𝗿. 𝗜𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗯𝘂𝗯. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas and leads the iBioRFCASL lab. Her research focuses on RF/mixed-signal ICs, phased arrays, and wireless power transfer for biomedical, IoT, and aerospace applications. She earned her B.Sc. from BUET (2012) and Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee (2017). She has received major honors including the NSF CAREER Award (2020) and DARPA Young Faculty Award (2021). She also holds key roles within IEEE technical committees.

We are thrilled to introduce: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗵𝘆𝗮𝘆. He holds B.E.E. (gold medalist), M.E.E., Ph.D. (India), and Doctor of Engineering (Japan) degrees, with 35+ years of experience. He is a Professor at Macquarie University, Australia, leading the Mechatronics Engineering programme. His research focuses on smart sensors, IoT, wireless sensor networks, robotics, and drones. He has supervised 60+ postgraduate students and published 450+ papers, along with patents and books. He has delivered 460+ presentations and has an h-index of 89 with nearly 30,000 citations.
He is a Fellow of IEEE, IET (UK), and IETE (India), and serves in key IEEE roles.

The IEEE AUST APS-MTTS Joint Student Branch Chapter is honored to highlight one of the visionary minds joining us at the upcoming IEEE International Conference on Microwaves, Antennas and Remote Sensing (MARSCON 2026).

We are thrilled to introduce our keynote speaker 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗭𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘅𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗻. He is an IEEE Fellow and a renowned expert in antennas and microwave engineering. He earned his B.Eng. from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (1987), M.S. from Southeast University (1990), and Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo (1997). He worked at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and later at Com Dev Ltd., Canada. He also held research positions at Harvard University and the University of Michigan. From 1999 to 2023, he served as a faculty member at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Currently, he is a Strategic Scientist at Beijing Institute of Technology’s Yangtze Delta Region Academy. His research focuses on antennas, RF/microwave components, and he has authored over 240 journal papers.

We are thrilled to introduce: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝗡𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿. He holds degrees from BUET, the University of Saskatchewan, and The University of Queensland, along with qualifications in higher education. He has 35+ years of academic and research experience across multiple countries. His research includes RFID (chipless), smart antennas, radar signal processing, UWB, and microwave technologies. He has authored 13 books and 450+ papers, with 17+ patent applications. He is currently a Full Professor at North South University, Dhaka.

The IEEE AUST APS-MTTS Joint Student Branch Chapter is honored to highlight one of the visionary minds joining us at the upcoming IEEE International Conference on Microwaves, Antennas and Remote Sensing (MARSCON 2026).

We are thrilled to introduce: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗚𝘂𝗵𝗮. He is a Professor in Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, India. He is a Fellow of IEEE and also a fellow of all four National Academies for Sciences and Engineering of his country. A former Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellow (2020–2025), he has also been awarded the prestigious J C Bose Grant by the Government of India in 2025. He has served IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society as a Distinguished Lecturer and Associate/Guest Editor for IEEE AP Transactions, IEEE AWP Letters, IEEE AP Magazine, and IEEE OJAP. He is the Chair of IEEE AP-S MGA standing committee and has been representing India in the URSI Commission B.
