Boiler Inspection Time Hazards – Know Before You Inspect

Boiler inspection is a high-risk activity if proper safety measures are ignored. Every inspection engineer, operator, and maintenance team must be aware of the potential hazards before entering or working around a boiler.

Common Hazards During Boiler Inspection:

# Residual steam & pressure
# Hot surfaces and scalding risk
# Oxygen-deficient confined spaces
# Toxic or combustible gases
# Falling objects & poor access
# Electrical and mechanical hazards

Safety First – Always Ensure:

# Boiler completely isolated and depressurized

🔍 বয়লার ইনস্পেকশনে PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing)

কেন, কিভাবে এবং কোন স্ট্যান্ডার্ডে?

বয়লার একটি হাই-রিস্ক প্রেসার ইকুইপমেন্ট। তাই এর ওয়েল্ড, ড্রাম ও প্রেসার পার্টস ইনস্পেকশনে আধুনিক NDT পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার করা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
এর মধ্যে সবচেয়ে কার্যকর ও নির্ভরযোগ্য পদ্ধতি হলো PAUT – Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing।

4️⃣ Sectorial Scan (যেমন: 40°–75°)
5️⃣ Data Recording (A-scan, S-scan, C-scan)
6️⃣ Defect Evaluation ও Acceptance Check
7️⃣ Standard অনুযায়ী রিপোর্ট প্রস্তুত
