Who said rookies are meant to observe and not dominate?
At the RoboBoat 2026 Autonomy Challenge, DoB JolJan accomplished what many believed was beyond the reach of a first-year team—successfully completing three autonomy tasks, including two Core tasks and one Advanced task. This milestone stands as one that even teams with over a decade of participation history have struggled to achieve. In a competition where experience is often considered the ultimate advantage, we proved that vision, resilience, and relentless preparation can rewrite expectations.
We did not arrive with years of legacy behind us. We arrived with belief. And today, as the current Asian Rookie Champions of RoboBoat 2026, DoB JolJan has not only represented Bangladesh on the global stage—we have set a new benchmark for what a rookie team can accomplish.

Against all odds, DoB JolJan has passed the Safety Inspection — becoming the first rookie team in the RoboBoat 2026 and the first Bangladeshi team ever to reach this milestone! 🇧🇩

After the disappointment of all our members visa, our team lead courageously stepped forward alone, carrying the dreams and hopes of the entire team. Through perseverance, courage, and unwavering belief, we turned a moment of challenge into a moment of triumph.

As we move forward, we pray and hope that the next stages unfold as smoothly, and we are committed to giving our very best at every step of this incredible journey.
