বর্তমানে চাকরির ক্ষেত্রে এই ৩ টা প্রোফাইল খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একজন শিক্ষার্থী হোক অথবা একজন চাকরিপ্রার্থী।

সিভি দেখে কোম্পানি গুলো আপনাকে শর্টলিস্ট করবে, আপনার প্রত্যেকটা এচিভমেন্ট যদি সেভাবে তুলে ধরা হয়, তাহলে অবশ্যই কোম্পানি গুলো আপনার সাথে যোগাযোগ করবে। বেশিরভাগ শিক্ষার্থী এবং চাকরিজীবী ইন্টারভিউ কল না পাওয়ার সবচেয়ে বড় কারণ সিভি,
পড়াশোনা থেকে শুরু করে, চাকরি অভিজ্ঞতা বিভিন্ন ট্রেনিং প্রজেক্ট বিভিন্ন সফট স্কিল, আরো কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় আছে যেগুলো সিভিতে প্রপারলিভাবে তুলে ধরা হয়নি,গোছানো নেই, যার কারণে কোম্পানি গুলো বুঝতে পারতেছে না, আপনার ভিতরে কি আছে, অনেকে ভুল তথ্য দিয়ে সিভি আপডেট করেন, অনেকের সঠিক তথ্য আছে কিন্তু সিভিতে তুলে ধরতে পারেনি, কারণ সে জানে না কোথায় কি দিতে হবে,কোন জায়গায় কোনটা বসবে,কোন জায়গায় কোন শব্দ ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

যার কারণ আমরা এখনোও অনেক পিছনে পড়ে আছি।
এজন্য শিক্ষার্থী এবং চাকরিজীবী ভাই-বোনদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলবো,সিভি নিয়ে, আপনার ক্যারিয়ার নিয়ে আপনার কাজের বিষয়বস্তু নিয়ে পড়াশোনা করুন, চেষ্টা করবেন নিজের সিভি নিজে তৈরি করার।

আর যদি আপনি কিছু না বুঝেন,অথবা আপনার কাছে সময় নেই, তাহলে আপনি প্রফেশনাল কারো হেল্প নিতে পারেন।
যিনি আপনার ক্যারিয়ারের প্রত্যেকটা বিষয় সুন্দরভাবে গুছিয়ে দিবে।

Maintenance Engineer – Interview Questions & Answers

1. Tell me about yourself.

Answer: “I’m an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with X years of experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reliability improvement for electrical systems such as Motors, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, and industrial control panels. I specialize in minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring safety compliance, and improving machine efficiency through predictive techniques. I’m strong in root-cause analysis, documentation, and working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.”

2. What is preventive maintenance (PM) and why is it important?

Answer: “Preventive maintenance is scheduled maintenance performed to prevent equipment failure before it occurs. It is important because it reduces unplanned downtime, increases equipment lifespan, improves energy efficiency, minimizes repair costs, and ensures safe operation.”

3. Explain predictive maintenance.

Answer: “Predictive maintenance uses real-time data and condition-monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, motor current signature analysis, and oil analysis to predict failures before they happen. This helps plan repairs precisely and reduce unnecessary maintenance.”

4. What is your troubleshooting approach?

Answer:
1. Understand the problem – ask operators, check history
2. Observe symptoms – alarms, noise, heat, vibration
3. Isolate the faulty area – divide the system
4. Test with instruments – multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester
5. Identify root cause – tools like fishbone diagram
6. Fix and verify – test operation
7. Document – update logs and recommend improvements

5. What electrical tools and instruments do you commonly use?

শুভ সকাল,
বর্তমান সময়ে, চাকরি বাজারে যে পরিমাণ প্রতিযোগিতা শুরু হয়েছে, ভালো চাকরি পাওয়া, কোথাও থেকে সুযোগ পাওয়া, চ্যালেঞ্জিং হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে।
বিশেষ করে যারা ফ্রেশ, তাদের চাকরি পাওয়াটা চ্যালেঞ্জিং হয়ে যাচ্ছে।
পাশাপাশি যাদের অনেক বছর চাকরি অভিজ্ঞতা আছে, তারা আবার নিজের যোগ্যতা গুলো সিভিতে সঠিকভাবে উপস্থাপন করতে পারছে না, যার কারণে কোম্পানি গুলো অভিজ্ঞতা থাকার পরও কাউকে শর্টলিস্ট করতে পারছে না। আমার অভিজ্ঞতা আছে,পড়াশোনা আছে,ট্রেনিং আছে,প্রজেক্ট আছে, কিন্তু এ বিষয় গুলো সিভিতে কোন এঙ্গেলে, কোন ফরমেটে,কোন শব্দ ব্যবহার করলে আমি বেশি,বেশি ইন্টারভিউ কল পাবো এবং কোম্পানির কাছে শর্ট লিস্ট হব, এই বিষয়টা অনেকেই জানেনা। ভুল নিয়ে বসে থাকে।
যাই হোক আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, গত ৩ বছর ধরে আমরা অনলাইন প্লাটফর্মে বিভিন্ন সার্ভিস দিয়ে যাচ্ছি,
তার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য,

Star (Y) vs Delta (Δ) Motor Connection key difference:

Star (Y) Connection:
A three-phase motor winding connection where one end of all three windings join at a common point called the neutral.
Delta (Δ) Connection:
A connection where windings are connected end-to-end to form a closed loop resembling a triangle (no neutral).

Voltage Difference
Star (Y)
Line voltage = √3 × Phase voltage
Example: If supply is 400 V (line), phase voltage becomes 230 V.
Motor receives lower voltage, hence draws lower current.
Suitable for starting because it reduces inrush current.

Delta (Δ)
Line voltage = Phase voltage
Example: If supply is 400 V (line), phase voltage is also 400 V.
Motor receives full voltage, hence higher torque.
Used for running condition in star-delta starters.
