A few weeks ago, মm. suddenly knocked with the idea of a shoot and asked me to style it. The whole concept was big hair and hidden faces, and honestly, it instantly caught my attention. I had already been dreaming about doing a dark, moody shoot inspired by “Rater Rani,” so everything just clicked together naturally.

I used one of my favorite broken glasses to create a face mask, and then we got ready to shoot with one of my favorite photographers, . There’s honestly nothing much to say about her except that she’s an artist — she turns every photograph into art, and that’s something I truly love.

And finally, we did the shoot… and you already know the result.

This silhouette carries another fragment of my childhood.

I was that stubborn, naughty kid who never wanted to eat—and somehow managed to ruin every outfit while doing it. Stains were part of my daily routine. This pattern is inspired by the protective fabric I was made to wear during meals—something practical back then, now turned into memory and design.

I was also someone who loved wearing a saree with an orna, endlessly playing with it. That small joy stayed with me, so I brought it back here—adding an orna to this piece as a way of holding onto that feeling, that version of myself.

Endless gratitude to for turning this journey into moving visuals—the reels hold this story so beautifully.

and , your hands brought the final touches to life, adding depth and character beyond what I imagined.

And —you didn’t just wear this piece, you understood it. You carried my memory like it was yours.
