EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Superior HDD is currently looking for an experienced drill operator and supporting crew members for a maxi rig. Experience with maxi rigs is essential. We currently have a couple of consecutive projects with our Prime PD150 that we are looking at completing in 24-hour shifts. We are looking at building another full maxi rig crew to run one of the shifts. Our new Prime PD45/19 (45 tonnes of thrust & pullback force) has been out on it's first project completing a 400m drill shot in a matter of days. The rig is now onto the next job currently completing a 500m shot in rock. Very impressed with the new rig so far and we can't wait to see it out on more projects in the new year. Well done to the team at Superior HDD. Another difficult HDD project delivered on time and under budget with zero LTIs or environmental incidents. Just under 400m of 560mm HDPE drilled and installed 40m deep underneath Avoca Lagoon with Superior HDD Prime PD150. Superior HDD is quickly becoming one of the sought after drilling contractors when it comes to challenging site constraints and difficult drilling conditions. This project required 80m of 850mm steel casing hammered through marine sand into bedrock at 26m deep with Superior HDD's newly acquired Goliath Grundoram. Steering was done with Vector Magnetics Gyro tool, once again hitting the mark. Thanks to all the hard work of those involved in making this project successful including Eire Constructions, Central Coast Council, Future-Proof Solutions, David Gunnell (Underbore Solutions), Prime Drilling GmbH, Tracto Australia, Highside drilling services and Vector Magnetics.

Superior HDD have been busy out at work with our new Prime PD150 maxi rig.

Earlier in the year we were contacted by Diona to complete 4 HDD drill shots varying from DN150 up to DN560. The project was a great success and showed us what this new rig can do.

Next up the PD150 completed a Seymour Whyte project. This project included the installation of various pipe configurations from 250mm up to 6x140mm and 2x63mm, side by side under the M4 highway. Using a Paratrack Gyro steering tool, in challenging cobble conditions and the congested location of the job, Superior HDD were able to get the job completed achieving all targets.

Superior HDD are looking for HDD drilling staff to join our growing fleet. We will be receiving our new Prime 330,000lb rig in December followed by our new Prime 100,000lb rig in April. We are looking for workers to join our team with HDD experience, positions available from labourers right up to supervisors. We provide a consistent work schedule with good pay. Salary packages available will be determined by experience.
