Keeping History on the Move! 🚚🔧

There is nothing quite like the classics, and there is nothing quite like loyalty.

Managing Director Craig Tweed was out on the workshop floor this week, checking in on the team as they look after a beautiful vintage Commer for a long time customer.

At Hancock & Just Wheel Alignments, precision isn't just our job, it's our passion. Whether it is a modern fleet vehicle or a piece of living history like this old beauty, we treat every job with the same expert care.

🚛 Keeping the Big Rigs Tracking Straight at Hancock & Just! 🚛

This massive Kenworth B-double tipper set just rolled into our workshop for a full precision alignment. When you are hauling serious weight across this many axles, even a tiny misalignment leads to major tyre scrubbing and handling issues. Our team has this setup in the bay to make sure every single wheel is tracking perfectly parallel.

Why truck and trailer alignments pay off:
👉 Slash Fuel Costs: Correcting tyre drag reduces rolling resistance, meaning the engine doesn't have to work twice as hard.
👉 Max Out Tyre Life: Stops premature, uneven tread wear across all axles before it destroys expensive rubber.
👉 Improved Handling & Safety: Eliminates trailer dog-tracking and steering wheel pull for a safer, smoother haul.

Don't let a bad alignment eat into your profits. Bring your rig or your entire fleet by the shop to get squared up!

Nothing beats the sight of classic Aussie iron rolling through our garage doors, and this absolutely immaculate 1961 FB Holden, beautifully restored by Craig, is no exception!

Craig has done an incredible job bringing this 60s legend back to its absolute prime. After countless hours of hard work getting the body, paint, and mechanicals completely sorted, it rolled in today for the final, crucial step before hitting the open road: a precision wheel alignment.

Setting up the geometry on an early Holden requires a true "old-school" touch. Unlike modern vehicles, getting the caster, camber, and toe dialed in perfectly on these classics means working closely with traditional steering setups to ensure it tracks straight and true down the highway.

Properly aligning a freshly restored pride and joy does more than prevent uneven tyre wear; it transforms the steering feel and ensures Craig can enjoy every single cruising kilometre with total confidence.

A massive thank you to Craig for trusting our team with his beautiful FB! We can't wait to see this classic turning heads out on the streets.

Getting the Kakadu Wanderer II ready for the next big lap! 🚐💨

Safety and smooth towing always start from the ground up. Today, we wrapped up a massive job on this tough dual-axle Kakadu Wanderer II caravan, giving it a full suspension rebuild followed by a precision wheel alignment.

Overhauling the suspension and locking in a proper alignment on a dual-axle setup is absolutely crucial. It stops your off-road tyres from scrubbing out early, improves your fuel economy, and ensures the van tracks perfectly straight behind the tow vehicle without any swaying.

A stellar job all round to get this rig dialed in perfectly. Nothing beats the peace of mind knowing the suspension is fresh and 100% road-ready for the rough tracks ahead.

Where is everyone heading this weekend? 👇

🚨 PRECISION ALIGNMENT FOR AN AUSTRALIAN CLASSIC! 🚛💨

We had this absolute weapon of a Kenworth T620 SAR prime mover roll into our purpose-built Wingfield workshop today. This heavy-duty, Australian-designed workhorse is built to handle the toughest highway hauls, but even a beast like this needs precision tuning to perform at its best.

We hooked it up to our advanced, heavy-duty alignment gear to ensure every axle is tracking 100% true. When you are running a setup like this Kenworth, keeping your steering geometry dialed in is essential.

At Hancock and Just Wheel Alignment Specialists, we make sure your rig leaves rolling perfectly straight:

🛞 Maximise Tyre Life: Stop premature, uneven tyre wear before it destroys your expensive rubber.

💸 Save on Fuel: Reduce rolling resistance so that big engine doesn't have to work twice as hard to pull the load.

🛑 Improve Driver Comfort & Safety: Eliminate steering wheel pull and highway vibrations, making those long-distance hauls a breeze.

From single day-cab prime movers to massive multi-trailer highway fleets, we are South Australia's "One Stop Shop" for alignments, steering, and heavy suspension repairs.

📞 Call the team today on (08) 8349 4711 or visit Hancock and Just to book your truck into one of our 10 workshop bays!

When standard adjustments aren't enough, we bring out the heavy armour. 🛠️🚛

If a rig is eating through steer tyres or constantly pulling to one side, a simple toe-in adjustment won’t solve a bent axle.

We have this pristine white Kenworth prime mover stripped down in the bay today. Its front beam is being removed for a precision Out of Vehicle Axle Press correction. By dropping the axle and placing it into our heavy-duty hydraulic press, we can:
✅ Reset the camber angles to suit the road surface the vehicle is operating on with absolute precision.
✅ Eliminating severe tyre scrubbing and uneven shoulder wear.
✅ Save you thousands in premature tyre replacements and extra fuel burn.

Don't settle for band-aid fixes that don't last. Do it once, and do it right.
