Harry Pye runs a mixed farming operation at Gingi, 30km west of Walgett, NSW. He bought his BLADERUNNER™ two years ago after talking to Joe about roly poly so thick he couldn’t push Dorpers through it. Flattening it created a mulch layer and revealed a heap of Mitchell grass underneath that the sheep had never been able to reach.

“It did exactly what I wanted it to do.”

Harry chose a configurable machine that splits from 12m down into 3m and 4m units. His verdict: simple, robust, easy to use, with no maintenance issues.

The BLADERUNNER™ is an Australian-made, patented crimp roller built for non-chemical w**d control and pasture improvement.

Here is an update from “Billabulla”, north of Warren. This is the exact paddock where we filmed Rod Mildner’s testimonial back in summer.

Rod hit the paddock with the BLADERUNNER, dry sowed oats, then a bit of rain did the rest.

Our favourite kind of messages to receive. Thank you Rod! Scroll back a couple of posts to hear more from Rod.

A check in with Joe at Ulah, Walgett, also known as Donaldson Dairy. Muffin McLay has joined Bottomley Potts.

Joe assures me you’ll understand….

Five or six years ago, spraying stopped making sense for Gus Hickman.

Too many of the species he wanted were copping it from the chemical. So he brought a BLADERUNNER™ into the system at Talinga, out near Cowra, and hasn’t looked back.

What it’s done for him:
→ Lower input costs — less chemical, and a fraction of the fuel you’d burn mulching or slashing→ Holds plants up to stretch out the growing period→ Lays w**ds down as a ground-cover mulch, so he can loosen the soil and terminate the problem plant exactly when it suits him, not when the spray rig dictates

Sounds pretty good to us. Keen to know more? Head to; https://www.evolveengineering.com.au/

Hugo Green runs a self-replacing Angus breeder herd and trade steers at Chesney Pastoral, 35km south-east of Orange, NSW.

He’s been putting the BLADERUNNER™ to work on his pasture renovation (see our last post) terminating spent crops for better seed-to-soil contact, encouraging self-seeding, and knocking variegated thistle on the head post-sowing.

He said some kind things: “You can tell by the amount of time and thinking that’s gone into this implement, they’ve not missed anything on this machine.” 🌱

High praise, we’ll take it and validate the time Joey spends in the shed.

The BLADERUNNER is Australian-made, patented, and built for non-chemical w**d control, pasture improvement and regen systems.

Our ethos; look after Mike, and Mike looks after you. If you know, you know.

Keen to know more? Head to our websites, it’s new, we’re showing it off, and we reckon it’s pretty slick. Have a sticky beak here; https://www.evolveengineering.com.au/

Good old-fashioned organic pasture renovation, courtesy of our mate Hugo at Mandurama, NSW. Clearing out radiating thistles, underutilised pasture and w**ds to leave room, and sunshine, for the good stuff.

Rain’s falling, so there’s no better time to get planning.

Our last post got 100k views… not sure if it was Joes face or the launch of our 3M BLADERUNNER (we absolutely know!). Either way, here’s a check in from HQ today. Few machines ready to go… sounds like a good EOFY purchase to us.
