These two small ag trailers came in for some much-needed attention.

The trailer on the left received new tyres after the old ones had perished, while the green trailer needed structural repairs.

The drawbar mount had rusted and broken away from the body, so we plated the rusted section and securely reattached the drawbar mount, giving it a new lease on life.

Both trailers quickly back in action and ready to get to work!

Can’t get to us? No worries — Vertex comes to you! 🏍️🔧
We headed out to a customer to sort out an issue with this Suzuki GSX-S 1000 after the rear brake pads had been fitted incorrectly during a previous job. Unfortunately, that mistake ended up damaging the rear brake disc.
We got it sorted properly 👇
✔️ Fitted a new rear brake disc
✔️ Installed a fresh set of brake pads
✔️ Checked all hardware was torqued and fitted correctly
Now the bike is stopping the way it should and ready to hit the road again with confidence.
Sometimes the small details make a big difference — and we make sure they’re done right the first time.

Right place, right time. 🔧🚐
After finishing up a job, we came across a caravan stranded on the side of the road after losing a wheel — not a great situation to be stuck in.
Rather than leaving them stranded, we stopped to lend a hand and fitted the spare wheel, allowing the van to be moved safely without causing any further damage before proper repairs could be carried out.
Sometimes it’s not just about the job you’re heading to — it’s about helping out when someone’s in a tough spot.

Good weather for ducks… not so much working on trucks. 🦆🌧️🚛
This International rolled in needing urgent attention, and the rain definitely wasn’t taking the day off.
We got stuck into it and knocked over a solid list:
✔️ Replaced a blown airbag
✔️ Remounted a brake booster
✔️ Realigned and re-secured the rear diff
✔️ Welded up cracks
✔️ Remanufactured suspension wear pads
It wasn’t dry.
It wasn’t glamorous.
But it was done properly 💪
We got soaked — but more importantly, we got it sorted and back on the road where it belongs.
Rain, hail or shine, if it needs fixing, Vertex gets it done.

PTO playing up? We’ll come to you and get you back spinning! 🚜🔧

Call-out to a customer’s property today for a UHI 554 tractor with a PTO disengagement issue.

The clutch had no proper second stage feel and the PTO wasn’t engaging like it should. After popping the inspection plate and checking clearances, we found the clutch fingers were out of adjustment — meaning the secondary stage wasn’t doing its job.

Out came the tools 👇
✔️ Adjusted clutch fingers
✔️ Set correct clearances
✔️ Restored proper PTO engagement

No transport, no downtime waiting around — sorted on site and back to work where it belongs.

If your tractor’s not feeling right under foot or your PTO’s acting up, don’t ignore it.
