If there’s something you want and can’t find it on our web store, just reach out and we can get it for you! We supply parts for any Kia and Hyundai mods you might be after - nothing is too obscure. From upgraded brake kits to suspension, LED bulbs, body kits, accessories, intakes and exhausts. We also do custom fabrication including turbo downpipes, muffler deletes and resonator deletes. Most importantly, we’re here to help the KDM community. What is KDM you might ask? While technically KDM stands for Korean Domestic Market, we're borrowing heavily from the JDM car culture by using this acronym to refer to anything manufactured by a Korean car manufacturer. That's why we like to and we hope to help the community grow! Modifying cars is our hobby and helping customers is our passion, so send us a message and let us know what we can do for you.

E85 update!

After a week of testing, tweaking, and daily-driving, we got our i30N DCT on the dyno to find the limits of the factory injectors.
We weren't able to get the car to happily make more than 20psi before we felt that the injectors were really maxed out. The good news with this, though, is it means that these results should be more or less repeatable with a fairly unmodified car (i.e. downpipe and high-pressure fuel pump)

In terms of fuel economy, putting it on the dyno really killed our numbers, using ~1/5 of a tank while one the dyno.

Prior to the dyno we were at ~30 litres used, and 224km travelled, giving us a fuel economy figure of 13.4 litres per 100km, or 31.6c per km at today's E85 price.

After the dyno we went and filled up with some VP Racing Fuels E85 from our local servo, where we put in 39.53 litres of E85 ($2.359 per litre). Having travelled a total of 240.2km, this gives us fuel economy numbers of 16.4 litres per 100km, or 38.8c per km.

To put this in perspective, if you average 11L per 100km on 98RON, then you'll get about 360km from 40L, and if it's $2.75 a Litre (like it was earlier in the week) then you're getting 30.2c per km...

So, myth busted in terms of this being a viable cost savings measure but what about how it drives? In truth, it's the same as running 98RON... Other than a slightly longer crank on cold start, and smelling much better, you'd never know it was running ethanol.

When we ran out of injection on the E85, we turned the water/m**h system back on, and got a little more out of it - but we ultimately had to draw the line somewhere, and decided to stop at just a touch over 21psi with the water m**h system turned on.

4 days in with E85 on stock injectors, so far so good with a moderate boost target. Here's a little cold-start action and some gentle revving (cos we know you want to hear the exhaust!)

Tuning a fully catless Stinger to run no more than factory boost levels but still make good power certainly was an interesting challenge, but we got there and made 280kW at the wheels, should be a rocket at the 6-hour!

With petrol so expensive, it's time to start playing around with Ethanol again. Sure you'll use 20-30% more, but E85 is currently ~25% cheaper than 98 RON... So same/same really

Testing full E85 tune on stock injectors - stay tuned for updates!

We've had a bit of bouncing around recently, and haven't been able to use our Dyno for a couple of months, but we finally have keys to a new workshop in Clyde (near Granville/Parramatta)
While we're moving, there will be periods of time where our phones will be off, and there will be extended delays on replying to messages and emails. Please be patient with us while we get set up in our new shop and we can get back into the swing of things in early Feb.

We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Fantastic New Years!

This year was a bit of a rollercoaster for Cherry Tuning, with lots of massive changes, and more changes to come, but we're excited to see what 2026 brings us!

We're still open for the rest of this week, and anyone with workshop bookings in the week of the 6th, we'll be in contact with you to give you alternative means of contacting us during the shutdown - as we will still keep your bookings.

Stay safe on the roads over the break, and we'll see everyone next year!

It's a bit warm in the workshop today...Hope everyone is staying safe and hydrated in this heat!

Putting some head studs in this Stinger motor. With the twin G25 turbos and WMI we should be able to make some strong power!
We hit 617BHP and 768Nm (at the fly) before the factory head bolts decided they'd had enough... Hopefully now we can hit 700HP!
