In 2025 CST made a mast designed for the Scow Moth. It has since been put through its paces and now it is ready for the public. For years the Scows have just pieced together bits and pieces and made do with old gear to get on the water. This new mast is a two piece configuration to make transport super easy. It has built in additional reinforcing and stiffening down low to reduce lower mast bend. One of the main benefits of this mast is that it can be sailed in a spreaderless configuration, for those looking to push the limits and reduce windage.

🏆 Another major victory for Mark Bulka and CST! 🏆

Mark has done it again, taking out the 2026 Italian Contender National Championship at Anfo on beautiful Lake Idro, Italy. Competing against a strong international fleet, Mark delivered an outstanding performance, winning 4 of the 5 races sailed.

Sailing with a CST Towpreg mast, Mark demonstrated exceptional speed and consistency throughout the regatta. Even more impressive, CST masts filled the entire podium, securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and reinforcing our reputation as the mast of choice for serious Contender sailors. Congratulations Mark on another incredible result!

We’re proud to support the North Queensland Sabot Association. It’s great to see the next generation of sailors enjoying the sport and even better to see plenty of smiles from the prize winners at the final presentation. There have been plenty of legends flourish from the Sabot Class and it looks like it's still continuing to develop this emerging talent.

Here at CST Composites, we’re passionate about supporting grassroots sailing (because that's where we came from) and we love helping young sailors develop their skills by supplying quality equipment for the Sabot Class.
