Dobinsons 3-Way Adjustable Monotube Shocks Absorbers offer an exceptional level of performance and tuning capability normally only associated with high end off-road race trucks. Mounted in the reservoir is a 30mm complete valve with shim assembly and seperate needle and jet bleed path to provide separate low and high speed compression damping adjustment. Rebound damping is adjusted via a through-shaft, checked-valved main piston bypass port to allow incremental changes in the rebound damping forces providing the required rebound damping rates to maintain wheel traction, reduce body movements and reduce top out. The combination of the 3 separate adjusters provide upto a 200% increase in compression damping and upto a 50% increase in rebound damping allowing precise damper tuning without compromise.

All of Dobinsons 3-Way Adjustable Monotube Shocks Absorbers sport either a 50 or 60mm CNC Machined High Flow Billet Alloy Piston. These Pistons have been designed in house, to meet the performance, flow capacity and durability required for extreme offroad conditions. The Carbon-Fibre PTFE Disulphide Composite Wear Band delivers the ultimate in low-drag, low-wear performance to keep friction levels at a minimum and to improve the ride.

Dobinsons Shafts are made from a 5140 HV900 Hard Chromed, Induction hardened Heat Treated Material. With a tensile strength exceeding 700MPA and a surface hardness exceeding 46 HRC, these super strong, ultra-durable shafts can and will take anything you throw at them. Precision shaft grinding and the upgraded 3 Stage FKM-HNBR, NOK Sealing System provide un-paralled sealing durability and longevity with extremely low friction.

Springs Seats, Adjuster Rings, Rubber Bushings, Floating Pistons, Rubber Breaded Hoses & Seals make up most of the other components used in the making of these shock absorbers. Working with Parker, we have developed a compact 2-Way Swivel Fitting at the reservoir, to allow the Remote Reservoir to be positioned properly for easy adjuster access. The Spring Seat, Adjuster Rings & Floating Piston are all machined from T6 6061 Aluminium for a strong, light weight package. Last but not least, all bushings used are made from all-natural rubber to reduce NVH, improve flex and allow an extremely long life.

Dobinsons 3-Way Adjustable Monotube Shocks Absorbers utilise a 3mm thick DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel Body and a machined 6061 Aluminium Remote Reservoir both honed and machined to a tolerance of +/-0.04mm's to provide the perfect finish and sealing face for the working and floating pistons for predictable, consistent damping. Body End caps are CNC TIG welded to the body, pressure tested then the Bodies are EDP coated to protect the shocks from the harsh environments.
