M2HB Twin .50 Cal Mount & Improvised Gun Shield

Field-modified, not standard issue — that’s what makes this one interesting. The M113 normally ran a single M2HB at the commander’s hatch, leaving the gunner exposed. Crews in Vietnam responded with armoured shields and improvised twin mounts — feasible because the M2HB feeds from either side.

Kit includes:

Leopard 2A7V Detail Upgrade Kit — in 1/48.

Built specifically for the Tamiya 1/48 Leopard 2A7V. Direct-replacement and additive resin components that push the build well past what injection moulding can deliver at this scale.

Kit includes perforated turret stowage bins with full open-mesh geometry, three bin lids for open or closed configuration, a replacement tool set with sharper clamp and strap definition, two MG3 machine guns with cooling jacket perforations and feed tray detail, a mount, and 20 suspension covers — a detail the base kit omits entirely.
