Ausfit Torsion Bars

Ausfit Torsion Bars AUSFIT Torsion Bars are Portable, have no moving parts, are weather/rust proof, provide multiple new outdoor exercises and build grip strength.

AUSFIT Torsion Bars were founded & created by Anthony Richardson in 2013 following a 11-year service in the Australian Military. Torsion bars originated as a piece of equipment fitted to the chassis of military vehicles and were utilised as weighted equipment during training drills and military fitness exercises. Once returning from the military, Anthony sought after a similar apparatus for his bo

ot camp sessions as a personal trainer. Anthony went about inventing his own in the backyard of his home and the torsion bar was born. With their sleek design, robust durability and versatility, Torsion bars are now used in boot camps and personal training across Australia, as well as being supplied to the Australian and New Zealand military.

Did you know that strength training can actually make your bones stronger and reduce the risk of osteoporosis?

When you lift weights or do resistance exercises, your muscles push and pull on your bones. This action stimulates your bones to become denser and stronger over time.

Stronger bones mean a lower risk of fractures and other issues related to osteoporosis. Keep lifting, and your whole body will thank you! πŸ’₯πŸ’ͺ

Did you know strength training can help alleviate back pain?

One of the key aspects of strength training is its ability to target and strengthen your core muscles, which include your abdominals, obliques, and lower back muscles. These muscles provide crucial support and stability to your spine, reducing the strain on your back and minimising the risk of injury.

Engaging in regular strength training exercises can also help you develop better posture by strengthening the muscles responsible for maintaining proper alignment. A strong core and back musculature can prevent slouching and promote a neutral spine, reducing the pressure on your back and alleviating discomfort.

Resistance training exercises, such as deadlifts, squats, and rows, not only build muscle strength but also promote spinal stability. A stable spine helps distribute loads more effectively, minimizing the impact on specific vertebrae and discs. This, in turn, can alleviate back pain and reduce the risk of spinal injuries.

Remember, it's essential to consult with a professional before starting any new exercise program if you have a pre-existing back condition. They can guide you in tailoring a strength training routine that suits your needs and ensures your safety.

How to do a Torsion Bar Bicep Curl πŸ‘‡

Make sure you start in a standing position with your feet shoulder-width apart and the torsion bar held in both hands, palms facing up.

Keep your elbows close to your sides and engage your core muscles throughout the movement.

Slowly curl the bar up towards your chest, bringing it as close to your chin as possible. Hold for a moment at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the bar back down to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

To get the most out of this exercise, remember these tips:
1️⃣
πŸ’₯ Keep your elbows close to your sides: This will help to isolate the bicep muscles and prevent unnecessary strain on your shoulders.

πŸ’₯ Engage your core: Keeping your core muscles engaged throughout the movement will help you maintain stability and prevent injury.

πŸ’₯ Avoid swinging the bar: Use slow, controlled movements to lift and lower the bar, and avoid swinging it or using momentum to lift the weight.

Try incorporating this exercise into your next workout for a challenging and effective way to work your biceps and core muscles!

Sometimes pairing certain muscle groups together can help create more efficient workouts.

But what muscles should I pair together?

Many people find it helpful to pair muscle groups that are close together. So you may want to pair your shoulders and arms together since many exercises use both body parts.

The primary benefit of splitting different muscle groups onto different days is your ability to give each muscle more rest.

Do you organise your workout based on different muscle groups?
