Over the last two days, we’ve been kept busy with some solid dozer work.

We had the opportunity to get our hands on two D6 bulldozers, carrying out:
🔧 Reclaimed chassis EQ bar bores on both dozers
🔧 Push arm midway bores on both dozers

We also jumped on a D7 bulldozer, where we machined the nose cone still in place, ready to suit a bush upgrade.

A good couple of days of machining and some challenging access, but another few machines ready to work. 💪

Step 2: machine the bore in preparation for welding.
Step 3: ID weld the bore to regain material
Step 4: Machine the bore back to specifications

We were approached by the customer who requested these worn bulldozer push arm bores to be bored oversize to suit a bush upgrade.

Not only is this repair faster saving downtime, it also allows the bush to be replaced in the future.
