All our remanufactured work is marked with a serial number.
It’s how we track our work, identify what’s been done before — whether by us or someone else — and it’s always interesting when one of our own comes back through the workshop. This serial number dates back to early 2014, which means this Colorado clutch slave cylinder has given nearly 13 years of service.
Considering these units were often failing from the factory after only 3 years or so, that’s a pretty solid testament to stainless sleeving and the quality rubber seals we use.
This one only needed a quick hone, fresh paint, and reassembly with new seals, boot and switch. Now it’s ready for another 13 years or more.
