6.6m gap? Containers locked in place? No problem.

We modified some of the dome structure mounting hardware on the fly to mount one side of the structure directly to the container roof, creating a perfect shelter between non-standard spacing.

When the job site says "impossible," we say "let’s engineer a workaround."

Online marketplaces, particularly Facebook Marketplace, have experienced a significant increase in shipping container fraud.

We have received numerous reports from customers who have unfortunately fallen victim to these fraudulent schemes.

The most reliable method of protection against such scams is to ensure that NO transactions are to be conducted WITHOUT meeting the seller. Under no circumstances should a payment or deposit be rendered without physically inspecting the container and meeting the seller face-to-face.

Regardless of any reason provided for not being able to meet in person or to take a phone call, no excuse warrants jeopardizing your hard-earned.

Remember, shipping containers are a very common product and there will almost always be many legitimate sellers who have them in stock, never feel pressured to buy ASAP.

Concrete Footings for Shipping Containers: A Recommended Add-On

Although not required, concrete footings represent a valuable investment when acquiring shipping containers. While direct ground placement is feasible, it is not advisable due to the increased risk of corrosion resulting from moisture exposure during rainfall.

Concrete footings provide several significant advantages:
• Elevation of the container above ground level, preventing corrosion
• Protection from moisture-related deterioration
• Accessibility beneath the container for electrical wiring and utilities
• Increased overall height when installing dome shelter systems
• Concrete footings do not have to be bolted to the container

Our most commonly recommended concrete footings measure 400mm × 150mm. Typically, one footing positioned at each corner provides adequate support. However, if structural modifications or cuts are planned for the container, additional footings in the midsection are strongly advised to maintain structural integrity.

Each council across WA may have different requirements regarding permits and paperwork. To ensure compliance, please contact your local council for their approval before proceeding with any dome shelter installation.
